Matt attended Temple University in Philadelphia, receiving his B.A in Film and Media Arts. Upon moving to Los Angeles, he has taken on numerous roles within the Entertainment Industry. He has independently produced, written, and directed numerous short projects and actively collaborates with numerous brands across Social Media Platforms. As a speaker, he has hosted and MC'd numerous events, produces content for non-profits, and is a guest on top podcasts including The Mental Illness Happy Hour.

It was his own mental health journey and that of his family that created the passion for social media content, and the impact it has to stir individuals to take action. His expertise in Media has lead him to produce large scale Media events including Film Festivals, and Social Media Conferences. Matt Shep Productions is the culmination of his skills and passions in hopes that Social Media becomes a language anyone can use to help them move their messaging forward and create a personal economy not dependent on outside enterprises.
